Winter...

It is beginning to be very coooold outside.
Everyone is starting to bundle-up for the next few months.
When people say they dislike winter, it makes me very wonderous.
Why?
Yes, i know it is freezing outside, but just think...
It's the most perfect time to finally enjoy that cup of hot chocolate. Or to do all of the super fun outdoor activities like ice skating, skiing/snowboarding, broomball, walking across the frozen lake, building a snowman/snowwoman, or even eating the icicles off of your roof. There is tons of things to do!

Personally my favorite part of winter is wearing my eskimo boots. And they are NOT attractive boots. But they are so warm and they make me feel like an eskimo :) I also enjoy writing my name in the snow, whether its on a car winshield or just on the ground. Winter allows you to do so many random things :P

So i say...
Why complain about winter when there is so many oppertunities that you can do that can't be done in any other season?

Its a wonderful thing. To all you song writters out there...i want to ask you one question...

Do the songs you write really mean something to you?

Song writing can be such a powerful thing. You can get emotions out. Its a way to tell people how you really feel about things. With my experience, i found that just writing about what you see in other peoples lives can cause a lot of confusion towards yourself and others. I also feel incomplete when i perform those songs. I feel that its almost like telling a lie, saying that i took place in those situations. Say you wrote the song and you performed it for other people. What do you think is going through their mind?

Now in my songwriting hobby, i write about things going on in my own life. Things that mean a ton to me. Some are about happy things, sad things, encouraging things, or even different experiences ive had. Right now i am completly in love with writing songs to Jesus! I call them my love songs for him. The songs mean soooooooo much to me. I also love perfoming them for people. So i can show off God, and to show people how much i am in love and obsessed with him :)
